Marco van der Weijden

Marco leads compliance and technology at Idoneus, covering the build, release and operation of the Idoneus Platform across Ethereum, Polygon, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure. He built and operates the company’s KYC and anti-money-laundering framework to Swiss standards, covering policies, onboarding, monitoring and reporting, and acts as its AML officer. He prepares and presents compliance, risk and audit matters to the board, and provides strategic direction on tokenomics, go-to-market and growth.

Marco has more than twenty-five years in technology, executive leadership and program management, as an executive, consultant and entrepreneur. He has delivered large-scale IT and telecommunications programs across Europe, established the Swiss subsidiary of a Dutch technology consultancy group, and has run an independent advisory practice in Switzerland since 2015. He has founded or co-founded three ventures and advised more than fifteen startup ventures in Europe, the United States and Asia, including international blockchain projects before joining Idoneus.
