A rare, original piece of art was sold using a unique method of payment.
Emillions Art in Naples sold a rare Pablo Picasso etching using a form of cryptocurrency called IDON. It’s the first ever sale of an original Picasso using a digital currency.
ABC-7 sat down with Owner/CEO of Emillions Art, Marlissa Gardner. She’s a global art consultant who made the sale.
“The first thing I did was call up some crypto experts and say, ‘What do you think of this?’” Gardner said.
